Waste Paper

What is Waste Paper?

Waste paper is considered a raw material in the recycling cycle. All paper types and cartons that are disposed of are considered waste paper because they are not able to be used in any field of use. In addition, erroneous newspaper prints and surplus newspapers from newspaper printing houses are also considered waste papers. In contrast, absorbent papers designed for single use and papers used for hygiene purposes are not considered waste paper because they cannot be recycled for hygiene and health reasons.

When we use scrap paper again in paper manufacturing, we reduce air pollution by 74-94%, water pollution by 35% and water usage by 45%. If we help the recycling system by separating the packaging wastes from other wastes in our homes and businesses:

• We reduce the amount of garbage going to solid waste landfill.
• We protect our natural resources by reducing material consumption.
• With 1 ton of paper recovered, we have saved 16-17 adult trees and save 4,100 Kwh of electricity and 32 m3 of water.
• We can prevent 20 trees from being cut by recycling 1 ton of waste paper,
• 3000 acres per hour, 50 acres per minute forest is destroyed,
• The garbage we produce throughout our entire life is 600 times our weight,
• A person spends 8 months of his life opening unnecessary correspondence envelopes ,
• 1 ton of used white paper recovered from 16 pine trees,
• A large beech tree meets the Daily oxygen requirement of 72 people,
• In our country, approximately 1 million tons of paper is made unnecessary correspondence per year
• 1 paper can be reused 5 times,
• Paper constitutes 40 of the garbage.
• 70 kg. waste paper rescues 1 tree,
• Using waste paper instead of wood,

- 25-70% Energy Saving
- 60% Reduction In Air Pollution
- 60% Water Saving
- 40% Reduction In Garbage Volume..
